At CountryMod, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our RV air conditioners. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund and return policy below.

Refund and Return Eligibility:

  • Returns are accepted only for new, unused, and unopened products. If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase to initiate the return process.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • We will cover the return shipping costs in the following cases:
    • Incorrect item shipped.
    • Product defects or quality issues.
  • If the return is due to a change of mind, dissatisfaction, or other customer reasons (e.g., not liking the product), the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Return Address:

  • Returns should not be sent directly to the shipping address on our website or from which you received your item. To initiate the return, please contact our customer support team at countrymodsus@gmail.com for the correct return address and instructions.

Steps for Return & Exchange:

  2. We will provide you with the necessary instructions and return address.
  3. Please ensure the item is securely packed for return shipping.
  4. Once we receive the returned product, we will process the refund.

Inspection Process for Returned Items

Once we receive your returned item, our team will carefully inspect it to ensure it is in the same condition as when it was shipped and has not been used or installed. Here’s a quick overview of our inspection process:

  • Visual Inspection: We will check the air conditioner for any visible signs of installation, use, or damage, such as scratches, dents, or other physical imperfections.

  • Functional Test: We will verify that the air conditioner is working properly, including testing the cooling function, fan speeds, and any other features.

  • Internal Inspection: If needed, we may perform an internal check to ensure there is no damage or misuse of the internal components.

Please note, if the item has been installed or used in any way, it will not be eligible for return or refund.

Refund Processing Time:

  • Once we receive your returned product, we will check the returned product and process your refund within 1 business day.
  • Depending on your payment method, the refund may take 1-7 business days to appear in your account. Please note that processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping Fees and Handling Charges:

  • We do not deduct any shipping fees or handling charges from your refund, provided the return is due to an issue on our end (e.g., wrong item shipped, product defects).
  • For customer-initiated returns (e.g., change of mind), the refund will not include the original shipping charges $40USD.
  • There is no restocking fee for return and exchanged orders.

Important Notes:

  • All returned products must be in new, unused, and unopened condition. If the product shows signs of use or is damaged due to improper handling or packaging, the return may be refused.
  • Please ensure you follow our return instructions closely to avoid delays in processing your return.
  • Shipping Damages: Due to the size and complexity of air conditioning units, they can sometimes be damaged during shipping. While we take great care in packaging to minimize the risk, if you receive a damaged product, please notify us immediately. It’s important to take photos of the damage when the product is delivered, as manufacturers require this documentation. If you notice obvious damage upon delivery, please refuse the shipment and make a note with the shipping or freight carrier driver. Failure to contact our returns department within 30 days of receiving the damaged item will invalidate the authorization for a replacement or refund. We appreciate your quick response in these situations.

  • Cancellations can only be made before the package ships. Once the package is in transit, we are unable to cancel the order. If you no longer want the product after it’s been shipped, you’ll need to wait for delivery and then initiate a return.

  • Please be aware that air conditioners that have been installed or used in any way are not eligible for return or refund. Air conditioning units are complex systems that can be easily damaged by improper installation or testing. These units are highly sensitive to voltage fluctuations, and even a small voltage spike can cause significant damage to components. Additionally, incorrect installation can harm delicate parts of the system. Due to these risks, we cannot accept returns on air conditioners that have been installed or used.
